Lee Marvin special wth guest Pamela Marvin




Bruce Bennett cohosts another film-fact- & fun-filled hour as the Speakeasy celebrates screen legend Lee Marvin. Marvin's widow, Pamela Feeley Marvin, is a special guest.

Pamela Feeley Marvin and Lee Marvin fell in love in 1945, when she was 15 and he was a 21-year-old Marine Corps. veteran; and parted in 1948 when Lee left Woodstock, New York, to pursue his acting career. In 1970, both divorced with children, they met again, married, and remained together until Lee Marvin's death in 1987. She has written a book about her late husband, LEE: A ROMANCE, appears in John Boorman's film LEE MARVIN: A PERSONAL PORTRAIT, and will introduce screenings of Marvin's films during the Film Society of Lincoln Center's upcoming Lee Marvin tribute at the Walter Reade Theater, which runs from May 11-24.
