Joseph S. Nye, Jr. and Arthur Penn
Joseph S. Nye, Jr. is the University Distinguished Service Professor, and professor of International Relations and former Dean of the The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.He has served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Chair of the National Intelligence Council, and Deputy Under Secretary of State for Security Assistance, Science and Technology, and is the author of The Powers to Lead.
Arthur Penn is the director of many seminal films, including Bonnie and Clyde, Little Big Man, Alice's Restaurant, and The Miracle Worker. He'll be talking about his film Mickey One, a jazz-scored noirish classic starring Warren Beatty. It is showing in its restored version at MOA in Manhattan through April 23.
